Hi, my name is Sandi!

I'm the voice, baker, and recipe creator behind this blog. What started as a way to stop texting recipes to friends in chaotic fragments has now turned into a full collection of easy, tested dessert recipes that anyone can make at home — no pastry degree required.

I've been baking for as long as I can remember. It started in my grandmother's kitchen, standing on a step stool to reach the counter, watching her fold chocolate chips into cookie dough with the kind of patience I could only dream of having at six years old. Those afternoons shaped everything about the way I bake today — with love, with care, and with the belief that the best desserts don't need to be complicated.

I live in the US with my endlessly patient partner who serves as my official taste tester, and our cat who has zero interest in desserts but strong opinions about everything else.
